Vieux Carré
The French Quarter in a glass — rye, cognac, vermouth, and two kinds of bitters.
Ingredients
- 0.75 oz Rye whiskey
- 0.75 oz Cognac
- 0.75 oz Sweet vermouth
- 1 barspoon Bénédictine
- 1 dash each Angostura / Peychaud’s bitters
- 1 strip Lemon peel - garnish
How to make it
- Stir everything with ice for 30 seconds
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass
- Garnish with the lemon peel
